Charlton Recruitment, is a specialist recruitment agency recruiting professionals in the BIM, Civil Engineering and Rail Industries within the UK.  We have developed an original new method of working called ‘Intelligent Recruiting’, this effects all aspects of how we work and run as a company – indeed who we are.

Intelligent Recruitment

Intelligent Recruiting was developed as a result of trying to find a new way of working which would allow business success, an improved service to our clients & candidates and a good work life balance. Traditionally in the recruitment industry people work very long hours and the role would be based purely on the phone, which isn’t a very effective way of working.  CR created ‘Intelligent Recruiting’, which adopts 21sttechnology such as social media and other means of digital communication to complement traditional headhunting practices, this is a far more intelligent smarter way of working.


‘Intelligent Recruiting’ isn’t simply a method of working it also describes the service we provide to both our candidates & clients and our business mantra.  It effects everything we do from whom we employee and to how we operate – we are always challenging the norm to find a better way to work.  Just because something has always been done a certain way, doesn't mean it is: right or always has to continue to be done that way.


We are constantly looking at innovative new ways to meet our clients and candidates individual needs and improve our business.  An example of this was the very successful BIM Webinar Series “BIM 2106.. Are you Really Ready” where Charlton Recruitment brought Global Thought leaders from the BIM world on a series of 4 webinars videos of the series can be found on this site.
