Salary: £50,000 – £70,000

We’re seeking experience BIM Manager / Snr Digital Engineer or BIM Coordinator ready for the next step with a strong background in the construction and built environment (building, civils, MEP) to join a forward-thinking Digital Engineering consultancy at the forefront of innovation working on £1.3bn programme of works with very high digital requirements.
Part of a national multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy, this role offers the opportunity to work on landmark, long-term programmes, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving the implementation and delivery of Building Information Modelling across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects
You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure digital workflows are integrated seamlessly, supporting design excellence and project efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovation in digital construction, contribute to strategic development of BIM standards, and work within a forward-thinking environment that values technical expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Flagship Programme of Works
You’ll play a key role on a £1.3bn+ 10-year programme centred around the Ellison Institute of Technology at Oxford Science Park, with complementary projects in London.
Key projects include: 300,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art research laboratories, Oncology and care clinics, Education and collaboration spaces, A new modern campus and London HQ.
Beyond this programme, the company partners with high-profile clients across defence, manufacturing, healthcare, residential, cultural, education, and motorsport (Formula 1), delivering projects ranging from £5M to over £500M.

Digital Engineering & BIM Capabilities

Working Arrangements
Agile working model – 3 days across office, client or project site
Site presence required at the Oxford project – once a week

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and implementation of BIM processes across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Develop, manage, and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans and ensure compliance with client and industry standards.
- Support design teams in the use of digital tools and workflows, providing guidance and troubleshooting where necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of coordinated models and data.
- Monitor and audit model quality, clash detection, and data integrity throughout project lifecycles.
- Drive innovation in digital engineering by identifying opportunities to improve workflows and adopt emerging technologies.
- Provide training and mentoring to team members to enhance BIM capability and understanding.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure BIM deliverables meet expectations and contractual requirements.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for an BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager within the Construction, Engineering or architectural industry most likely with a building / construction experience but still open to civils. Looking for a Tech savvy construction professional with Relevant qualifications in architectural technology, engineering, digital construction or equiv. with additional BIM certifications being advantageous.
BIM Manager should be able to manage the BIM Process to ISO 19650, Model management, manage building information for Opps & maintenance (Cobie) & good grasp of digital tools (Revit, clash detection etc) & be a natural communicator and collaborator.
- Strong proficiency in tools such as Solibri and ACC, with an understanding of Revit and Civil 3D.
- Solid understanding of ISO 19650 standards including the development of associated documentation.
- Experience managing federated models, clash detection processes, and data validation across complex projects.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and structured data management practices.
- Knowledge of interoperability between software platforms and openBIM principles.
- Experience mentoring or training others in BIM processes and tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement in digital delivery.
