Recruiting for Senior BIM Manager (Associate level) for a National UK multi-disciplinary property consultancies working within their dedicated Digital Engineering Consultancy. Able to consider someone looking to step from BIM Manager to Senior BIM Manager, or someone already at Senior BIM Manager seeking a role in a new environment to join an award-winning digital engineering team and deliver some of the UK’s most exciting construction projects and for the right individual take on some managerial duties. Working with high-profile clients in sectors ranging from defence, manufacturing, healthcare, residential, cultural, education, and motorsport (Formula 1) with construction values anywhere from £5M to more than £500M.
This is a dedicated BIM & Digital Engineering Consultancy providing a range of services in the BIM & digital engineering space to a wide variety of external clients - direct to clients, Consultants & Contractors, therefore the workload is very varied. Could be helping a client form their Information Requirements and the next day assist a Contractor to tender for a BIM Level 2 job or advise an owner operator on their asset information requirements.
They are looking for a BIM Manager (Associate) to work from their Manchester office and drive growth in the North. This BIM Consultancy has organically grown over 8 years from 2 people to a team of 20 servicing external clients across the industry (Clients, consultancies and contractors), they are looking to continue that growth by having an Associate who can service existing clients in the region such as MOD and also develop new work stream and clients and subsequently grow and manage a tream.
Please note that due to the nature of the projects they are currently engaged in (including MOD defence), it will be a requirement for the successful applicant to achieve BPSS clearance as a minimum. This will involve the following checks: Identity, employment history (3 years), National and Immigration (right to work) status, unspent criminal record, account of any significant periods of time abroad.”

The Digital/BIM Consultancy
The Digital Engineering team is an independent and growing team of 20 digital engineers of varying levels which has enjoyed many successes including year on year growth, shortlisted for the BIM & Digital Initiative of the Year at the Building Awards & BSI BIM certified ISO (phone number removed)& 2. The Digital Engineering team is operated as its own independent consultancy and so the successful candidate will have an opportunity to be directly involved in the running, marketing and development of the business unit.
Location & Agile Working
The BIM Team is located from Bristol, Birmingham, London, Manchester or Winchester. This role is based from the Manchester office they operate an agile working policy, normal for people to work 2 days from home as long as they are prepared to travel to meetings and to projects when required.
Their Digital/BIM Services
The team provide a range of services in the BIM and Digital Engineering space direct to Client organisations, external Consultant teams & Contractors. Typical roles and services include BIM Coordination, Information Management, 4D Simulations, as well as unique developed services such as Model Firestopping Review service and contributing to pioneering pilot projects such as our Digital Twin, Building Safety Digitalisation, or Digital FM programmes The Digital Engineering team also play a key part in making new technology recommendations, administering standards within the wider consultancy and adopting innovations through automating and BIM Programming, which can also be offered as an external consultancy service.

Experience and Skills Required:Personal Attributes:.

Experience and skills in a variety of areas including;
- Client-facing BIM process advisory and engagement
- BIM process document authoring including EIR, BEP, MIDP, Mobilisation Plan, Risk Register, Level of Information Need (BS 17412)
- UK BIM Framework, ISO 19650, and other associated standards
- COBie and IFC (ISO 16739) schemas, specification, and delivery processes
- Model data federation and quality checks using Solibri
- BIM co-ordination / data collation (eg. Solibri)
- Collaboration, communication and reporting on coordination issues using BIM Track (desirable, not essential)
- BIM authoring (eg. Revit)
- Use of PAS1192-6 enabled processes to promote digital H&S workflows (desirable, not essential)
- Common Data Environment capabilities and configuration using A-Site (desirable, not essential)
- Reporting Experience – Power BI and Air table (desirable, not essential)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have some industry experience in a relevant position - BIM Manager (any level)
- Demonstrable commitment to continued learning and self-development in emerging technology and processes.
- Bachelors / Masters / other qualifications in either built environment / BIM / data science or change management (desirable, not essential).
- Ideally have consultancy experience but will consider main contractor experience if the individual has the soft skills and confidence to develop new clients and business.
