- Description
- This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of commercial activities within the Delivery teams. The role works alongside the supply chain and contractors to assurance and support commercial activities. The reports to a Senior Commercial Manager supporting a commercial team.The ideal candidate would have NEC Contact Administration experience, ideally on a major infrastructure project. Rail experience not necessary, and we will consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds e.g Utilities, Nuclear, Energy, Civils, Construction etc.The role will be working within the intergated project team during the delivery phase of one of the civil engineering main works on Phase 1 of High Spee Rail prgramme. The project consists of delivery of structures, embankments, viaducts etc (heavy civils works), thus candidates should have experience of working on contractual administration within the delivery phase of construction - heavy civils experience on a live construction project.Accountabilities :Post Contract
- To be responsible for supporting the delivery of contract management of the contracts to maintain effective commercial control.
- To be responsible for supporting the administration of the obligations of the Project Manager under the NEC3Contract.
- To be responsible for supporting the valuation of variations and compensation events.
- To be responsible for supporting contract payments assessment.
- To be responsible for supporting the review and analysis of supply chain monthly reports.
- To be responsible for supporting the input into contract level performance information into monthly MBR reports.
- To be responsible for supporting the settlement of supply chain disputes.
