Description
Are you ready to drive your career forward by stepping into a fantastic new role as a Senior Structural Engineer?

Well established independent civil/structural consultancy whose history go back over 50 years have enjoyed consistent double-digit growth over the last 6 years and most recently merged with another consultancy further growing & strengthening the practice, which, is spread across 4 offices based in the South West and South East.  The consultancy is owner managed and they have a real commitment and indeed culture of promoting from within allowing employees to have a real stake in the business. 
Projects include Residential, Commercial, Educational and more, typically to a value c£20m (though can be more)

This is a great opportunity for a driven Senior Structural Engineer, who is passionate about design and their career development, to gain exposure to a range of fantastic building structures projects.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Structural Design Engineer,
  • Chartered Structural Engineer or progressing to
  • Must be a confident designer who is able to work autonomously,
  • Must be able to do calculations by hand without needing to rely on a computer but also must be comfortable using a computer (such as Tekla, Robot, Tedds)
  • Must have an excellent understanding of building structures in a variety of materials such as steel, concrete, timber, masonry.
  • Strong communicator with good client liaison and business development skills,
  • Able to manage and lead a team.
