- National Design & Build M&E Contractor require BIM Coordinator (Revit MEP) to work from their Northern offices in York working on a wide mix of private and public MEP projects
This design lead MEP provider specialised in the design and installation of building services and infrastructure solutions, wholly owned by one of the countries most respected national building contractors with a turnover of £1.5bn.

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for Coordinating BIM on 1 / 3 projects (depending on size) reporting to the Northern BIM Operations Manager, based out of offices in York.
Key Accountabilities will include:- Strong passion for BIM, specifically Revit MEP.
- Must be fully competent using AutoCAD and Revit MEP, modelling and coordination.
- Outgoing, sociable individual who is able to get on working within a team as well independent
- Host coordination meetings and prepare clash reports
- Agreeing timeframes and producing co-ordinated MEP drawings for HVAC, Electrical Services, Plant rooms and district heating systems
- Mentoring Engineers in Revit
- Knowledge of PAS1192:2
- Work in accordance with the mandated BIM Collaboration Procedures
- Maintaining good relationships with external Architects, developers and main contactors contractors
- nterface with internal design team ensuring clear communication between the CAD team and MEP Design engineers
- Ensuring projects are delivered on programme and according to the client’s brief
- Assist teams in setting up projects
Candidate:- Seeking confident, diligent professional BIM Coordinator with extensive Revit MEP experience and MEP / building services background, well versed in BIM level 2 standards
