Overview
A major international engineering and contracting company, who adopt modern Lean construction techniques and are the market leaders in BIM, are recruiting for Civil/Structural Senior CAD / BIM Technicians to join their award winning Digital (BIM) Engineering Team for the £2 billion Infrastructure Mega Project to build a new Nuclear Power Station at Hinkley Point.
You will be working within the dedicated Hinkley Point Power Station Digital Engineering team based from Bristol, whose overall purpose is to build the project digitally before it is constructed. Checking that the design works and the programme fits together without any clashes, therefore, any design or programme issues can be highlighted and rectified and value engineering options can be spotted.
As an experienced RC detailer you will work within the Rebar Review section, ideally you will have some 3D software experience, although if you are genuinely interested in learning the 3D environment and have the right technical and project experience then you will definitely be considered if you only worked 2D.
