Unique opportunity for a Digital Asset Management Specialist (EAM) who has experience working in an engineering, design or architectural consulting environment or indeed direct for a Utility, Energy, Infrastructure, Transport, Nuclear) to transfer their skills and experience and move into Management Consulting working for a World leading digital innovation, consulting and transformation management consultancy. Working with companies within Asset Intensive Industries (Utilities, Energy, Infrastructure, Transport, Nuclear, oil & Gas) you will provide these clients with Operational Transformations – Process Optimisation, transformation and asset optimisation.
I am looking for Asset Management Consultants whom work within Utilities / Energy & Asset rich industries (Rail, Oil & Gas, Power, Nuclear, Energy, Transport, Infrastructure) who would relish a career within a renowned independent management consulting business consulting with the world’s largest companies
What will you do?
The primary role involves the design and deployment of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) capabilities to support delivery of Capital Projects and Operational Performance improvement for existing business operations. You will support the development of innovative and pragmatic Operational Excellence solutions across Nuclear and Infrastructure sector.
You will form part of an experienced and flexible project delivery team, helping clients to realise benefits and transform behaviours which will lead to improved efficiency, improved service delivery and business outcomes
Experience
You’ll bring experience in Utilities / Energy & Asset rich industries (Rail, Oil & Gas, Power, Nuclear, Energy, Transport, Infrastructure). You will be a consultant most likely from an engineering, design or architectural consulting company working as an Asset Management Consultant. You will have experience of Enterprise Asset Management systems (Asset Suite, SAP PM, Maximo, Infor, Ellipse etc), Work and Asset Management Operating Model Design, Maintenance techniques e.g. planned, condition, predictive, risk based etc. and Continuous Improvement techniques.
As a Senior Consultant you will be expected to:
· Lead or work as part of a team for the design of Work and Asset Management capabilities to be deployed into a business, including; policy, processes, data architectures and the selection and of appropriate enabling technologies
- Be client facing, typically on client site
- Be responsible for day to day client relationships
- Provide significant support to the business development process either through successful delivery, as members of account or through the development of proposals.
- Contribute to the development of the operations excellence capability group through proposition development
- Leading or delivering projects in Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Utility or Asset Intensive industries, working for a consulting firm
- You will support the design and development of Project management initiatives for the implementation of complex EAM capabilities and applications which will include integration into the existing IT landscape, including ERP and Project Lifecycle Management systems (Dassault Systems, Siemens Teamcentre, Bentley Systems etc.)
- You will identify and analyse the business requirements and translate them into scalable client Asset Management solutions.
• You will have experience of one of the leading Enterprise Asset Management packages – Asset Suite, SAP PM, Maximo, Infor, Ellipse etc.
• Will have a knowledge and understanding of BIM
• An understanding of standard Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement techniques such as Lean
Personal attributes:
You will be highly motivated, a self-starter, bringing a proactive, can-do attitude to project delivery, capable of working independently as well as in teams in a sometimes-demanding project environment. You will have the knowledge and gravitas to credibly engage effectively with a range of utilities project staff up to a senior level on utilities project specific subjects. You will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, providing direction and helping others to develop. You will be able to anticipate and adjust positively to situations with clients that involve changing tasks and/or location, shifting priorities or ambiguity. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to listen to understand the client situation and the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently on potentially complex issues. Ability to work within an integrated team environment in a fast paced, pressurised client environment. You’ll have a track record of successful delivery within large scale projects or Projects working alongside other parties.
Career Development
You will most likely start as a Senior Consultant and will be provided an individual training programme to ensure you have the skills required from the consultant tool kit and exposed to the required experience which will enable you to develop and progress through the organisation.
To give you an idea of the next steps on the career ladder Career ladder / Progression:
· Senior Consultant £50 – 70,000 Bonus (£4 - £8000
· Managing Consultant (Salary £72 - 96k + Bonus £7-15K) - Must have consulting experience
· Consultant where salaries range £96 – 140k (Bonus up to £25k) and that is even before we reach executive level.
Flexibility and Working Away
Whilst you will have London or another regional city as an office base location (typically 1 day each fortnight), you must be flexible in terms of assignment location within UK, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice – however the days of working 4 / 5 days a week at a client office are largely gone due to the pandemic and management consultancies are adopting a hybrid model where work will be done at home, office and client’s office
All expenses will be covered whilst away and you will be given a company credit card.
