- Senior Engineering Integration Manager is required working within the Client Organisation responsible for the New High-Speed Rail project in the UK this is a multi-billion-pound high-speed railway to directly link the city centres of: London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester. The role is placed within The Euston Partnership which is a non-corporate collaboration between Network Rail (NR) Infrastructure Limited and High Speed 2 (HS2) Ltd, under sponsorship from the Department for Transport (DfT) to optimise outcomes from the estimated £7.5bn public investment in Euston.
Role Overview:
Working within the Engineering Integration team within The Euston Partnership (TEP) reporting to the Engineering Integration Director whilst managing a Data & Information Adviser & integration Engineer. The role supports on sequencing and overseeing the engineering integration activities across The Euston Partnership (HS2, Network Rail, DfT, Lendlease, Joint ventures) to meet the operational, technical and functional requirements of the Euston Campus programme. This role will also be accountable for checking alignment of design work against requirements and support integration of the Building Information Modelling (BIM) models for the OneEuston Euston Campus programme.

Work Situation – Hybrid
The office location is London, Euston and they operate a flexible hybrid working model working 4/5 days a fortnight from the office - so 2 /3 days a week. Overall, this is a very flexible modern employer who cares about delivery not where you deliver from, however, if you wish to be based front the office more you can.
Salary £60,000 – 70,000 + Pen(6:12) + 25 days Hol (mid-point £65,580)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver and review engineering integration outputs to support the integrated programme schedule, budget and quality requirements.
- In line with programme requirements, working alongside HS2 and NR to identify and manage the introduction of new systems on the network, where applicable, including systems/safety approvals and monitoring so that processes and documentation exist for sustained network usage.
- Manage all engineering and project development integration activities so that they result in schemes that are affordable, and that meet Programme requirements in a safe and environmentally responsible manner for time, cost and quality.
- Manage the appropriate validation and verification of engineering integration activity on behalf of TEP to ensure best for Euston decisions.
- Support integration of the BIM models for the Euston Campus programme models and use this to manage the cost integration to carry out analysis.
- Line management responsibilities, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and participating in selection / promotion decisions.

Candidate Criteria
Key criteria below:
- Chartered Engineer of an appropriate professional institution (or the equivalent experience) with relevant successful experience of Programme Management within the Railway Industry or other complex engineering industries/projects
- Understanding of the applicable UK construction regulations including CDM requirements.
- Key technical capabilities: engineering and design, environment, asset management, design integration, systems engineering, technical standards and legislation, and engineering assurance
- Background in major infrastructure – rail, heavy civils etc
- Background in civils, building surveying, structural, architecture, local authority, rail
Skills:
- Able to provide specialist technical support and leadership on discipline-specific technical and engineering principles to project development/delivery teams, but knowing when to seek further guidance from Subject Matter Experts or others.
- Able to communicate most discipline-specific technical ideas to colleagues, based largely on examples of application.
- Ability to manage principles relating to standards, safety, and the environment and able to articulate the rest.
- Applies principles and methods that ensure effective information management, modelling, and data security.
- Construction design management competence.
- Six Sigma Champion.
Knowledge:
- Chartered Engineer of an appropriate professional institution (or the equivalent experience) with relevant successful experience of Programme Management within the Railway Industry or other complex engineering industries/projects.
- Relevant qualification to a degree level or the equivalent experience.
- Understanding of the applicable UK construction regulations including CDM requirements.
- Understanding of relevant Regulatory and Legislative Frameworks.
- Commercial awareness including understanding of cost delivery, schedule targets and the need to deliver an integrated solution that meets all functional requirements.
- Key technical capabilities: engineering and design, environment, asset management, design integration, systems engineering, technical standards and legislation, and engineering assurance.
Type of Experience:
- Experience of railway engineering systems and equipment, and implementation.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering standards and activity on large complex major projects/programmes within a complex infrastructure delivery programme.
- Experience of leading railway engineering design and development works.
