- Asset Information Manager
The High Speed 2 project will connect London, Birmingham, the East Midlands, Leeds and Manchester, looking to open between 2026 and 2033. The trains will travel up to 400km/h and will cover 330 miles of Track.
Description
As an Asset Information Manager at HS2 you will be responsible for defining and delivering against the asset information objectives outlined within the HS2 BIM Strategy and Strategic Asset Management Plan, with a particular emphasis on efficient and effective specification of asset data.
About the role:
- Responsible for providing strategic input into the BIM Strategy and Strategic Asset Management Plan, ensuring that the processes associated with creating and managing asset data fulfils the business requirements

- Key stakeholder in the specification and requirements of the Asset Information Management System, to ensure that it delivers value to the business
- Ensure the wider Asset Information Team is sufficiently resourced to support the development and on-going maintainability of Asset Information and associated standards, methods and procedures
- Responsible for providing a fit for purpose asset data quality management framework with associated KPIs to enable effective measurement of data quality, development and execution of improvement plans, and reporting through the HS2 governance structure
- Responsible for the continuous improvement of all processes, including governance, of asset information
- Establish Asset Information accountabilities, asset information requirements and their alignment to business risk
- Define the skills and behaviours needed for the whole life management of asset-related data
- Engage with other areas of HS2 to ensure Asset Information is embedded in appropriate local processes
- Promote digital transformation in all areas where greater efficiency can be gained, influencing and implementing change.
Qualifications
About You:
- Knowledge in the application of BIM, ISO 55000, ISO19650 including remaining components of the BS/PAS1192 series of specifications/standards & ISO 8000-150
- Knowledge of data management approaches and practices
- Knowledge of data quality processes and the ability to analyse and articulate the impact of change
- Understanding of the influence that a data quality has on the asset lifecycle
- Knowledge of information governance approaches
- Knowledge of project management and development lifecycles
- Analytic skills and ability to use analytic tools and MS Office suite at an advanced level
